Dr. Toyetta Lynn Beukes, DNP, NP, is the esteemed founder of SipSafe Solutions Incorporated, a small business owner and company dedicated to providing innovative drink drug testing devices and secure drink lid covers. With over 30 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and 26 years as a Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Beukes has committed her career to the protection and advocacy of individuals, particularly survivors of sexual assault. Throughout her career, Dr. Beukes has performed thousands of sexual assault exams, focusing on drug-facilitated sexual assault. Her first-hand experiences with survivors have driven her to create preventative solutions to address this pervasive issue. Her dedication led to the foundation of Hands for Hope and Healing, an organization that underscores her commitment to supporting victims of sexual assault and domestic violence.  Beyond her professional responsibilities, Dr. Beukes is also a passionate advocate for personal safety. She volunteers her time to educate women on safety measures and distributes whistles to help summon aid in dangerous situations. Her advocacy has even reached international levels, exemplified by her trip to Liberia in 2012 at the request of the U.S. State Department, where she provided forensic examination training to local police, medical professionals, and the legal system.  Dr. Beukes'  unwavering dedication to forensic nursing and her compassionate advocacy forvictims of sexual assault make her a formidable leader and a true hero in her field.
